Hi there!
Another Iris Lover!!
Iris' can grow just about anywhere, but...they want a cool down period at the very least, if not a winter. Now...they WILL grow, but the rhyzomes won't last as long, split as fast, stay "fresh" as long, and you may have to actually replace them every few years as they will rot out from the constant moisture.
I know they grow in Florida, but we have a cooler period.... you know.... two seasons, hot and hotter....along with the wet vs dry, so we occasionally had to re-plant. I don't know the weather in the Phillipines....but....if you don't get a prolonged cool down period that allows them to go dormant and rest...you may want to dig them up in the fall, trim the leaves down to next to nothing, pack in peat moss (moist, but not wet) , place in those new ziplock bags that allow what is inside to "breath", and put in the fridge, or cold cellar (if you have one) for a few months. Re-plant in march and they'll do great!

Good Luck and Happy Gardening!
