the thing to remember about oil is it gets absorbed, but never dries. therefore, if you give it something better to absorb into than your paving, it will cling to it. when i worked at an automotive store we sold stuff, but i would always tell my customers to go get kitty litter. the stuff we sold looked the same (there is also a powder stuff which is probably a little less work). now, you have to work it into the pores of your paving so use your feet! brooms do not work as well, shuffle your feet, hell do a dance! grind it into your paving! then let it set for about 1/2 hour (to give it time to absorb). sweep the stuff you can, the use your hose with a head attatchment on the jet setting for the rest of it.

I'm guessing these stains are set. If they were not, kitty litter works great. It absorbs the oil and stops it from staining. I would think also something like simple green could work for you. There are also concrete dies which are available at any hardware store.

I had the same problem last month....tried loads of products but none worked. So i asked in a car parts centre and they had canisters of chemical that garage forcourts use to remove oil ...and look how many oil stains they get....it worked first time...excellent stuff.

mail me and i will give you their phone number....(UK Number) but you should also be able to get it at a parts centre like i did.

BRAKEKLENE from the auto parts store, if the spot is small, it washes the stain away pretty well, blot it with a paper towel as you apply it. Get the red can, the green one is flammable

expose them to slow heat to evaporate the oil. or you may expose them to torch flame slowly to burn the oil. replacement shall come last should the stain stays inside the pores.
