I am working on a small eco-resort on an island off the coast of Haiti. see site www.ile-a-vache.com . I am looking for someone who can help us with the landscape design plan. We want to set this up as a way to help create job in this small island.
Many thanks

We had several tomatoe plants in our garden and the squirrels have robbed us of every ripe tomatoe that has been produced...we have tried nets, poisions, repelants, we are at our wits end with this...they outsmart us every time.. when we used a net they just chewed a hole in it...they dumped the pan of poision out...and the repelant just doesn't work...my grandmother said she was just gonna sit outside all day with a gun and shoot them..lol...like hillbillies i guess....any one have any suggestions

hypothetically, let's say you saw someone coming out of row of bushes from about thirty feet away--you might be able to tell if they were wearing a tuxedo or something recognizeable, but as far as facial features? It would be kind of blurry right? Height? Hair/eye color? You wouldn't be like dependably certain would you?

Just wondering.

I have a fairly small flower bed and I did have it looking very nice but grasshoppers have started eating all of the blooms off of my flowers and now all that is left is a few little blooms. the plants are still alive just not pretty anymore. how do i get rid of these things? I would prefer something that wasn't toxic or something that wont hurt my dog if he happens to get into it.

I am zone 6, I want to plant both fast growing temporary shade and slower growing permanant shade trees close by. I have some very rocky soil, some clay soil and some garden soil. My yard is about 1 acre and virtually baren of trees and bushes.

I mean I have a few that hang in there the tough little guys but I seem to kill most of them.
How do you know if you give too much or too little water?

i have heard that both methods are acceptable. My understanding is that the burlap will rot away and allow the roots to grow.

I know people don't usually try to kill off grass, but I have a gravelled area that grass is growing through(not weeds). Can you buy anything for this
