I have a fairly small flower bed and I did have it looking very nice but grasshoppers have started eating all of the blooms off of my flowers and now all that is left is a few little blooms. the plants are still alive just not pretty anymore. how do i get rid of these things? I would prefer something that wasn't toxic or something that wont hurt my dog if he happens to get into it.

I have the same problem! I use a spray bottle with one small jar of hot sauce ( you can use the cheap stuff found at a dollar store) & fill the rest of the spray bottle with water.
I found spraying daily works the best.It doesn't seem to harm the plants & works well for other damaging bugs as well!
Hope this helps!

straight forward; Get some Raid Foggers at Wal Mart. stick with guidelines intently. After fogging you'll locate their little useless bodies everywhere. Do the abode and the basement. look in both the backyard dept or cleansing area. eco-friendly field 3 cans in a field $9.00 less severe priced than an exterminator. those products works.

Spray it all down real well with either liquid 7 or malathion. This works very well.
