Been checking around and found one thing of interest. Don't know where you are located, but:

"Water on rose leaves causing them to 'burn'? If the sun is as hot there as here in Texas .It will scald them and the leaves will turn brown and die. [W]e had a rain and then the hot sun came out and almost killed my hibiscus and one bunch of my sunflowers."

The idea seemed to be that rain or watering the leaves under a hot sun could cause the sun to burn the leave, turning it brown and killing it.

Maybe that is happening with yours?

Anyway, good luck!

could be a number of things. are the leaves right brown or just spotted. if so then it could be bugs, try a insect soap. if they are totally brown then maybe not enough water. roses like lots of water
