Technically yes, socially no. Your neighbour may not be aware of your problem. I say just trim whats invading your yard and toss it in your garbage.

Seems like most people are forgetting that your neighbor has his/her own reponsibility in this scenario, not JUST you. Sure you could just continue every fall to clean up all the leaves and never tell your neighbor, which makes you the bigger person. But you're not obligated to do this OF COURSE.
I hereby grant you permission to throw the leaves coming from your neighbors tree into your yard....BACK into your neighbors yard. NO GUILT INVOLVED. Your neighbor should actually be knocking on YOUR door apologizing BEFORE you start feeling as though you have some obligation to pick up the leaves. That would be the RIGHT thing to do. It's the principal of the matter. This small situation could cause you and your neighbor to become best buddies if there was good communication involved. I hope your neighbor reads this. (LOL)

Yes, you could BUT:
you loose the compost or mulch the leaves could supply your garden;
you get rid of a little irritation but you could get more irritation ... your neighbor just might find your action aggressive;
you could invite your neighbor over to help you clean up the leaves or to trim the tree (your neighbor will probably say no, but will be aware of the problem, a friendly action on your part calls for a friendly action on your neighbor's part);
and after at least three nice gestures you can bag up the leaves and leave them on your neighbor's front porch.

You can, but I don't see the point if you can physically pick them up and take them to your own garbage can. The time it takes to pick them up and toss them over the fence would be the same as throwing them out. Besides, it is actually littering. This happened to a relative of mine and they had to clean up their leaves that fell on their ground, even though the tree was in the neighboring yard.

I wouldn't recommend that. If you go through the trouble of picking them up just bag and trash them. Besides throwing them back over the fence may cause a feud between you and your neighbor

I wouldn't. It would only start a war between you and your neighbour. However, in some areas, it is legal to cut parts off a tree if the part is hanging over your property.

Yes you can but it is in bad form. Speak to the owner of the offending tree{s} and ask that they remove the leaves left on your property. To go to the extreme, you have the legal right to remove any vegetation that encroaches upon your property. Keep in mind that leaves are a wonderful source of mulch. Personally I would welcome the addition to my garden. Ciao!
