There are multiple divot-like holes in our grass. They are not deep like those that a gopher would dig. I believe I saw a squirrel digging, but others have told me that it's not likely. BTW, we also have rabbits back there and some have suggested racoons, which I have yet to see.

I have a variety of different weeds in my yard. I know it is best to wait until spring to try to get rid of the weeds because I just re-seeded my lawn. I have everything from dandelions to some kind of broadleaf weed that is basically taking over my yard. What would be a good weedkiller or weed and feed to help thin my lawn of weeds in the spring?

Is it difficult to plant? Is it expensive? How does it look? Any downsides?

I have a stark white plastic bird bath but I want it to be a different color to match the house or not stand out so much. I didn't know if it'd hurt the birds to spray paint it, although I've never seen birds in it. Also wondering if the paint peel quickly under the water?

I cut my bougainvillea bush back yesterday and got pricked by the thorns, which is inevitable, and now the fingers that were effected by them are swollen and itch. I have taken benadryl, which has helped a bit. My doctor said it isn't uncommon and often times, too high a level could require steroids. Has anyone ever had this happen? I definitely think I will hire someone next time it gets too large!

In front of my apartment bulding, there is a little garden which belongs to my landlord. Overlooking that garden, there is a porch where we all have little potted plants. In one of my pots, I decided to grow a bean plant, so yesterday I put the little bean into the dirt all nice and neat, and watered it. When I came home today, the bean was dug up, and little footprints surrounded it! I classified the footprint as those belonging to a squirrel, how do I keep the little critters from destroying my plants without hurting them in any way? Thanks!

I'm in Oshawa, Ontario, and just noticed these growing close to my fall crop of raspberries. I'd like to find out what I have growing in my garden. I can take a picture of it, if that will help.

We live in a high desert climate, and our home does not have a sprinkler system installed? We've been using this big fan sprinkler, but it doesn't quite seem to cut it. Are there any other good (and relatively inexpensive) options out there?

I had a couple cherry tomato plants planted in a half barrel last year. They're everywhere now! They've taken over other plants, and the whole backyard, not anywhere near where they were planted. How on earth do we kill them without killing the sod?
