kay so i have put my avacado seed in water with toothpicks and all that and now theres a long root how long do i need to leave it in the water before i can plant it? and where should i plant it?

also i want to start a pinapple plant and i cut the top off and its drying out how long do i let it dry and how and when do i plant it? or does it have to sit in water first? please help!!

Just a caution, the leaves of the avocado plant are poisonous, so keep out of reach of children and pets who might put it in their mouth.
Now that you have a root, you can plant in a pot - but be very careful not to brreaek the root. If it is too long for the pot, gently wrap / curl it around the bottom of the pot. Use light fluffy planting mix.
Once the pineapple has scabbed - dried - you can nestle it into the top little bit of moist growing medium in a pot and place in a nice warm location. Do not over water or it will rot.

My 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days old grew some bean plant at school from a seed, and it ended up being Father's Day supplies. Too undesirable my daughter can strengthen a plant, and that i killed it in much less then 2 weeks..... i became somewhat disenchanted.
