I have a variety of different weeds in my yard. I know it is best to wait until spring to try to get rid of the weeds because I just re-seeded my lawn. I have everything from dandelions to some kind of broadleaf weed that is basically taking over my yard. What would be a good weedkiller or weed and feed to help thin my lawn of weeds in the spring?

Aussie, if you were paying attention you would have noticed that I said "in the spring because I just planted new grass"

Well.in the U.S. it's fall and the best time to use weed'n' feed. I would say Scott's is the best.

You must have gotten some bad grass seeds, there shouldn't be any weeds coming up when you just planted, unless you did it all wrong. Did you like clean the yard out of the weeds then lay some nice top soil and then the seeds? that is seeds that don't have a bunch of weed seeds in it.

You should have not reseeded yet as they do not recommend weed killer on a newly seeded lawn it will kill the young grass and can keep the seeds from germinating. weed and feed nest spring. Grin and bear it
