Start by BURNING not composting any infected material.
Or trash bag it, But do not compost it.
Second, either let the ground in that spot go to grass, so that it rests, or plant an entirely different family of plant there.
I would also say that if you know you have nematodes then you got soil samples tested at a field station or a Ag. University. So go back to the same people and find the kind of nematodes you have, and maybe you can buy beneficial nematodes that eat the bad nematodes! It is sometimes very possible, I use beneficial nematodes to eliminate fungus gnat larvae in my soil all the time!
Good luck!

The Nematodes, or eelworms, affect bulbs and potatoes. They are not visible to the naked eye but cause considerable damage, because of their rapid increase in numbers. Infestations show up in discolorations and deformities of the leaves and flowers. The affected plants usually die. No effective chemical substances are available to the home gardener. The only remedy is to destroy affected plants.
The Nematode may persist in the soil for as long as 15 years without feeding.
