My Hostas are getting SO big and growing over my sidewalk. I want to divide the plants and spread them out some. Just not sure what time of year is best to do this.

I have squash nearby can this be cross pollination or does it mean my plants are sick. The leaves of the cukes have also turned orange as well and I do not know what is wrong? My squash are unharmed, What gives?

Flowers? A flag? a puppy?

Get creative here.. I have seen some very extravagant mailboxes and I have seen some that are pigs that the handle on it is the pig's tail!

So express yourself.. what would represent you in an outdoor mailbox of your personality?

Is it just ADT? or are all security alarm custormer services so bad and rude when something happens and it is their fault??!!!

my alarm didn't go off when someone broke into my place. I called ADT, and they told me that the alarm works perfectly fine and it happened because alarm was not on!!
what the F#$)@%&#(%*@)(%!!!!

What is the point to have an alarm system when the system doesn't work and it's NOT their fault??

I heard that ADT is a big company. I guess the name might be big, inside is all rotten!

I have several large pine trees in our front yard with about 7 years worth of pine needles underneath. I have read conflicting information regarding leaving the needles...as natural mulch and evidently a desireable trend...versus raking out the area. I'm leaning toward removal...and placing a red shredded bark mulch over the same area - my own personal preference, not to mention the needles are very dry and brittle in the summer heat - but am concerned I may cause undue harm. The current needle layer appears to be about 5 inches thick with needles on top and a fine black sandy soil beneath. (Is this good?) We also see a lot of spiders and other bugs. Is it advisable to clear it out? Is the red shredded tree bark a good replacement? Any help is appreciated. We are new to lawn & tree care! Thank you!

I'm not positive it is actually a fruit, but i think it is...it is egg shaped and sized, orange and when cut open has a pod of red seeds inside...any ideas? The leaves on the tree that it is growing are shaped like a person's hand (i guess...if that makes any sense at all...) Thanks anyone...

I did not cut my lawn for 6 weeks, because we were on vacations and we could not find anybody to cut the grass for us. Now the grass is pale and very long and full of seeds.

I use Miracid once a month and it has blooms and flowers. But, more and more leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Are they just old leaves?

This sounds stupid, but where the heck on the plant do you find them? I cannot find the seed pods.

The plants are large and healthy. They get sun up until noon and they get plenty of water and fertilizer. The blossoms just shrivel up and die without bearing any veggies.

I have an ugly shed ... and I want to cover at least one side of it with fast growing climbers ... is there any climber that grows fast, and is frost hardy? I'm not worried if it blooms or not ... anything is better than looking at that dratted wall ....
