i have a 14 month old daughter and i don't want her to get sick or anything so i need to use something homeremady or something.

Many garden centers cell japanese beetle traps that hang from trees. They could be hung up high enough that she can't get to them.The website shows what they look like, but I've seen them in a bunch of local garden stores as well.

Do not use traps. They will draw them to your plants and you'll have even more. Treat the property with Milky Spore Disease (harmless to humans) and in a couple of years the only Japanese Beetles you see will be visotors from your neighbors property.

Pick them off and put in a bowl of soap water.
Then spray with soap water everyday to remove hormone scent. It can be done but it takes work everyday.

apply neem oil. 10 ml in 1000 ml water and spray.
