This sounds stupid, but where the heck on the plant do you find them? I cannot find the seed pods.

I looked on the plant where the flowers used to be. I could not find them. Is there such a thing as morning glory plants that don't produce pods? Because I swear they are not there! There are supposed to be pods with about 3 seeds each inside, correct?

You really won't see them until after the plant has died and dried up, so don't rip out the dead plants. Where the blossom was, at the base of the stem, you'll see a little football shaped sack with one seed per flower. I usually harvest my morning glories seeds around thanksgiving.

after the flowers fall off , small green pods will grow . they get about 1/3 the size of a marble . Once the pods turn brown you can pick them for planting them next year....Or just leave them on the vine and they will fall to the ground and come up next year without you doing anything to them .

Where the blossoms used to be, small round pods about the size of marbles will appear. Those have your seeds.

SEEDS ARE USUALLY AGROUNDNUT SIZED LIGHT BROWNISH ONES WHICH APPEAR AT THE BASE WHERE THERE WAS THE FLOWER .
IT TAKES ABOUT ONE OR TWO WEEKS AFTER THE FLOWER HAD DROPPED DOWN.
BUT IN SOME CASES I HAVE SEEN AT SOME PORTIONS THERE DOESN'T APPEAR SEEDS.SO KEEP PATIENCE UNTIL ANOTHER BLOOM COMES AND IT FALLS OFF.

AFTER THE FLOWER FALLS OFF IT TAKES A LITTLE TIME FOR SEED TO DEVELOPE THERE. GIVE IT MORE TIME. MINE ALWAYS COME BACK FROM THE SEED, TOO.
