It's kind of late in the year now for summer annuals. It's a bit too hot and plants might not survive. You could wait til fall and get mums. You can also plan ahead for next spring by planting tulip and daffodil bulbs.

It also depends on what zone you're in. Go online and do some research. Ask at a local county extension for native plants to your area.

Depending on how much sun and shade is in your yard. Select an area where it will be sunny, for flowers like Inpatients, (colored asst.) Marigolds , all different sizes. Bushes, Azalias, roses, I personally use Miracle Grow Garden soil to add to the ground, mulched it in . To keep moisture in,, use wood chips or cedar chips. Available at any Garden Shop, Home Depo
These places also sell plants and bushes, and have info how and where to plant. Hope your garden comes out the way you want it too. Good luck. Green thumbs to you.

I agree with the suggestion about container plants for now since it is late in the planting season. Hanging baskets, etc are a good idea. In September you can start planting bulbs for next spring. Mums, Pansies, and ornamental cabbage all add fall color to the yard. Fall is a good time for planting trees and shrubs, too. Check with your nursery to find out about native plants and trees. Those will be the easiest to grow in your garden because they are suited to your climate.

well, it depends on where you live. your best bet right now would probably be to get some prepotted hanging baskets or pots to set around your patio or incoorperate into your landscaping...some popular choices would be geraniums, petunias, impatiens(shaded areas), or anything that is already flourishing in a basket or pot. if you live in an area that is warm year round you could probably still plant anything and any local garden center or nursery would be able to help you choose plants that would best suit your taste. the plants i mentioned are annuals, they offer the most color all season, but will need to be replanted each year.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the deplorable answer given by Llama. Though i have seen most people just tell you to kiss him, you're question clearly states you want Him to kiss You. Boys are often not only shy, but concerned about making girls they like uncomfortable, the thoughts of things like, what if she pulls away, what if she doesn't feel that 'spark' and such. I would simply suggest that you let him know that you would like him to kiss you, i would imagine that when you try to tell him this, you're heart flutters, you legs feel weak and you're cheeks flush, he would be very flattered to hear this if that is the case. I hope that some of this has been helpful.

Its a bit late in the year for most thins, but there are some annuals you can still palnt, like impatients.

You could probably plant roses now to, but they probably wont flower this year.

You best bet is to prepare for next year.

This is where i like to get my perrenials from:

You cant plant them till the fall, but they will give you a great garden next year.

Peonies come up every year and come in a variety of colors in the spring
Gladiolas come up every year and come in a variety of colors in early - mid summer
Tulips and daffodils come up every spring also.

Plant things that come up every year. Read the lable to see when they come up and mix them in the garden so that you always have flowers through out the garden and not just in one place.
