If they are planted too deeply into the ground they will not bloom much or at all... goes for all roses. The top of the root ball should be visible. Also let them dry a little,...don't water every day but deeply every other day or so. And they need full sun for best blooms... make sure you feed them with a good rose food with systemic pest repellant qualities. and check that aphids or some other bug is not eating your buds. Also if they have previously bloomed dead head them for new blooms.cutting to the next 5 leaf area. Stopping to smell the roses.....Don't prune roses until fall, it does damage and can kill the plant. deadheading is necessary ,though.

Some roses wont bloom at the hottest point in the summer because the plant is using energy to strengthen the root system and trying to keep cool. Pruning in Spring or fall is best, but pruning now can help increase blooming. Try using a fertilizer high in phosphorous and potassium or a bloom booster.

at the end of this summer seaon, cut the greenery back. When they start sprouting in the spring you'll notice bud developing.

My boyfriend cut back my mother's roses and she almost cried until later on she say they came back better than ever and with more flowers.

check out a book in the library that can tell you how to prune them properly and on other care issues.

Have you been fertilizing? Even if you have, check with your local garden centre because the kind of fertilizer to use depends upon your local soil conditions, and the kind of plants they are, where they are planted, etc. Good luck!
