There are aspects and impacts to way we treat our environment. Every aspect incurrs a number of impacts that either benefit or degrade the environment around us.
eg.
Aspect - Electricity use- indirect aspects due to generation:
•From non-renewable sources
•From renewable sources

Impacts - Emissions to air (including gas/oil heater emissions), e.g.:
•Odours, vapours, steam
•Dust, particulates, smoke
•Fumes, including vehicle exhausts
•Products of combustion
•Gases
•Legionella from cooling towers
•Ozone depleting substances e.g. in fridges, air conditioning, halon fire extinguishers.

Hope this make sense...!

If as your categary suggests you are going for a job in landscaping then it would mean that you should have idea of planning that would be sympathetic to the surroundings i.e. walls, fences also planting trees , flowers ,shrubs etc that are indiginous to the area.Re-cycling is also important as is the planting of sustainable woodland.Hope this is of some help
