Hi! I recently bought the Very Hungry Caterpillar bedding for my toddler son's room. Its adorable! Problem is I can't find any corresponding wall art to decorate the rest of his room with. The artwork itself seems a very simple design, and while I could probably freehand the caterpillar and butterfly on his walls, I'm a bit scared to do anything so permanent. Any ideas on how to create a large caterpillar and medium butterfly using easy to find materials? Felt, tissue paper, whatever. I welcome your ideas and concepts! You could really have a lot of fun, incorporating the food, the sun, etc... found in the book!

Here's a link to the bedding itself:

Thanks people!!!

My stairs are 15' long and 3.25' wide. Do most carpets come in 15' widths? Or will I be charged for a 12' width x 15' long?

My livingroom picture window has a wide wooden trim around it. I'm not trying to make an illusion of it being larger. I just want to place the rod correctly. Would I put the rod holders right on the frame? The two outside ones will be okay but the middle one could be difficult because of the design in the frame. I would appreciate any help you can provide. My husband will be home soon to do the job and I have to get him while he's in the mood!! Thanks!

The top four inches is curved crown molding, with the widest "layer" about 2" high. There is a flat 1" high section at the bottom that might be the easiest to work on. Wide white vertical blinds hang below it, so it's a lot of white. This is above my sliding glass door, and it's against a green wall. Thank you!

I have far too many mirrored closet doors in my bedroom.
I feel like I'm at a circus side show, there are so many.
Any ideas what I can do besides replacing them all together?

Do you use throw rugs or any type of carpet in your bathroom? Someone told me that having carpets in your bathroom is a faux pas. Should the floor be kept carpetless???

The only problem is around here most people have white windows, the people who built my house put brown windows in so do you think the olive green siding and brown storm windows with a greenish brown roof will go well? Because I've only seen the olive green houses with black trim and white windows ( this is my mother speaking lol)

I want something the goes with dark wood trim. It is stained like a dark walnut. The front room raps around to the kitchen and down the hall so it would be all the same color... I really do not want tan or sage green.

We recently bought an older home in need of ALOT of repairs/upgrades. One being the kitchen. To save money, I would like to try and paint our countertops instead of replacing. Is this possible? I have heard it done on some DIY shows, but have no idea of how to go about it. Anyone do this before? .... Any tips?

My daughter is unhappy with her room she always has to share it when guests come over and sleep in my other daughters room. She was thinking about living in the attic if that was possible. My attic doesn't even have a floor it just has those wooden bars across it. Is this possible to make it liveable for her?
