I have beige carpeting and lighter beige walls, with medium brown couch and love seat. What would be some good accent colors for curtains, throws and pillows? I do not like really bright colors.

it's a small room, maybe 12 x 12, with a French door (to a little sunroom), the stairs to the second floor, and 2 entrances. Ten feet may seem like no big deal, but they're a challenge. How can I decorate the top 2/3 of this room? It's bright yellow with a crystal chandelier......at the entranceway, there are 2 round columns also 10 feet high, any suggestions to warm things up? I have hardwood floors...thanks!

Hi. I am remodeling my bathroom and noticed there are two seperate vent pipes (one for sink, one for tub.)
They are the standard 3" pipes, and I would like to take one of them out so I can do more with my bathroom.
(eyesore)
Will this be a problem?

Thanks all

It's in ground , about 2 feet out, concrete and tile. All I need is the hot tub out. I can remove the pipes and heater if necessary.

We just added a 400 sq foot room on to the back of the house- it is a long room with a kind of low ceiling- one side of the room has no windows, so i need ideas to make it feel less claustophobic &I want it to match the rest of my house so Im thinking on the lines of burnt oranges, mustard, olive green...colors of that sort. Id like some ideas- Oh ya- all of our nautical stuff is going to be moved out to this room-

We had picked a ceramic tile that was 1.20 a sq. ft. and ended up going with a porcelain tile that was 2.70 a sq. ft. . Is it really that much better?

I am looking for something called "Fairy Lights" for outdoor use. Technically, they are outdoor christmas lights, but they are made for year round use. I have seen these used in commercial areas and shopping centers to light their trees year round.

I have tried searching different Christmas websites, but all I can find is lights with white or green cords, and I need something with Brown cords.

Does anyone know where to find these?

My bedroom is huge. I have usual furniture in it-- dressers, a twin bed, couple pics on the wall, etc, but it still looks too big! What can I do to make it look cozier without doing something major, like painting the whole room? Please note my apartment is rented, so i can't make any major, permanent changes.

I have a tough time deciding which is better? Which one requires less maintenance, or is more beneficial if combined with a shower? Please help me decide.
