Yes, there is a high heat paint you can use. There are two different types, one is automotive engine paint and one can be used residentially for high heat applications. The key to the successful application and performance of either is properly cleaning and preparing the the surface to be painted. Both have specific instructions depending on the application. They are sold at home improvement centers and automotive parts supply stores.
