Hi guys,

Can any of u guys please settle an argument?

Copper pipework for new bathroom on ground floor, complete new build from ground up including bedroom on disabled grant.

pipework is bare copper under either concrete or between concrete and screeding, block insulation was put in and plastic membrane sheeting.

Now a guy yesterday told me those pipes should have been wrapped in some form of insulation etc, my bhuilder today told me that the pipes r not covered as the other guy was wrong.

The other guy said that there is something in concrete that can corode the copper in as little as 2 years.

Both the guy and my buider r decent guys, but whos telling the truth?

Cheers

Can someone help me find bedding to match my newly painted turquoise walls? You don't have to find a specific one, but tell me what color would match, and where to possibly find them. I'm thinking about black and white ones from dELIAS, but I really don't know! Thank you!

we have 12 foot ceilings in our home. our living room walls are painted a color called earthy oscher. its a earthy golden/brown color...really pretty...anyway, the ceiling is tall enought, i think, to pull off painting it the color of the walls. traditionally the ceiling stays white though. i say paint the ceiling! my husband isn't convinced though. what's your opinion?

About 3.5 years ago I got my room redone. It was painted by a perfessionnal and cost about 2000$ dollars, I think. My parents told me i could get it redone how ever i wanted and as a girl, I love soccer! So... I chose to get a soccer room when i was a huge tom boy. About 4 years later I love soccer still but, am not a huge tom boy! I am sick of my room and want a girlier room. (just like my mom said i would and i told her it would not happen) What should I do?!?!?!?

~ I don't need you to respond to this negitivly- dont tell me i am a spoiled brat- my parents did it when i was about 8 so... i didnt even demand it. Please write back Positivly or not at all!

My existing shower is tile but the job was poorly done and i´d like to remove all the existing tile and put new tile. My question is what is the process for removing the tile and how easy is it to retile the shower. The tiles are floor to ceiling. And is it feasable to install the glass tile that are small squares, i love those.

We are in the final stages of redoing our bedroom. We painted the room a light/medium blue, and the ceiling, trim, and doors white. We have butterscotch hardwood floors and white faux wood blinds. The only problem is that we couldn't afford new dressers and they do not match. They are both wood, but they are two different stains and types of wood. I was thinking of getting a white, metal, floral type headboard. Do you think that will match? What would you get?

I keep all of my extracurricular activities on a calendar in my kitchen. Unfortunately, it is nailed on a wall and doesn't look very attractive. I prefer not to use a planner. I need something in front of me in a space that I see often. I have heard of message centers but wonder if they have calendar centers? I am looking for a way to "display" my calendar more neatly and creatively than just hanging on a wall with a rusty nail. Any ideas? Or do you have a better organizing tip?
