Personally I love beige, and netrals, and I believe that beige walls with beige carpet really dont "count" as a color, so there is only one color in the room - Navy...most any color you like would probably not look bad. YOu could do a dark taupe, a copper, warm brown, light blue, sage green...even yellow, no reason why you couldn't use a combination of beige and any of the other colors just to add some life to the "beige room". Throw in a couple of cushions in the same color as your draps to tie it all in together. Bring samples home from the store to try... ask them for a swatch. Check out magazines for rooms you like. Good Luck.

ANY color sofa will do with beige--it goes with everything. If you are a slob, go with brown or black. Have a peek at a few furniture magazines, and you'll get some good ideas for suitable window treatments to go with your new sofa. Keep in mind, you can also put an accent rug atop your beige carpet, for interest. Your accent colors can be pretty much whatever you'd like--try to get complementary colors in the same spectrum.

If you want to make the windows a focal point, you could choose one of many bright colors, like red or pumpkin. Then use the same colors in pillows, candles, throws and art.
If you want the windows to blend into the walls, keep them light beige and add your accent colors in other places.

This pleated shade in "driftwood" or "earth" would look lovely.
