The cable jack in my bedroom is in a really bad location. I have a pretty small bedroom and limited options on where I can move my bed. Needless to say the cable jack is in a horrible location for watching tv in bed. How do most people deal with this problem? Do you simply run the cable wires under your carpeting or do I need to call the cable company and get the jack moved? I really dont want to have visible cable wires running around my bedroom as I think that would look pretty tacky. Thanks for any suggestions you could offer.

I have cream colored now,and I would like to go with something in the earth tones, maybe a dark beige(?), I am sorry that I choose this color carpet but its much cheaper to change the paint, rather that the carpet, any suggestions would be appericated. thank you.

I have 7 year old b/g twins and live in a 2 Bedroom apartment. They are sharing a room but really need their own space. Have any ideas on how to separate/divide the room to give them their own space? Since I'm renting it can't be permanent. I did at one time switch & I shared a room with my daughter. (Single mom) But I need my space too. I'm looking for a 3 Bedroom but the pickings in my area are slim, so it may be several months still until something opens up. I need to work with what I have right now. HELP!

I enjoy staining and varnishing but am always looking for tips on easier or better ways to do it. Can you let me know the steps you use to take you project from raw wood to the finished product and what you use. What grit sandpaper do you use on each step.
Thanks!

This is the first time that I've ever had my own house to decorate, and I'm really excited to plant flowers/garden, etc. However, my backyard is really small. Any ideas of how I can have pretty flowers in my backyard but still have enough room to have people over for a barbecue?
