Well despite the mixture of answers, your total floor area is 415² feet, which equals 38.5² meters, which @£5.99 equals £231.00, but you will need more carpet than that, depending on skill of your fitter and the widths of carpet available, 4 or 5 metre width?? Eg 1st room will need 4m of 5 m width, the bedroom should be ok with 4m x 4m. The hall will need 2m x 5 m split which will need a join! so there is a bit of waste but not too much, however you may need to get a larger cut to enable turning adjacent cuts to get the pile running the same way, otherwise you will get shading which will look like different carpets.

Alan -- You forgot to change the hall 30' to 'about' 10m which has upset your total somewhat!!

(I am assuming your measurements are in feet, since the measurements you give would be huge in meters...)

You have 415 sq. ft. total, which is about 38.6 sq. meters

38.6 sq. meters x £5.99 per sq. meter is £231.22.

Note that you'll probably have to add a bit to this, since you always need to figure in a little extra to be safe when dealing with carpet. I would generally give yourself an extra 6-12 inches all the way around each room.

Room 12x13ft = roughly 4x4 meters = 16Sq.M
bedroom 13x13ft = roughly 4x4 meters = 16Sq.M
passage 30x1 = roughly 28Sq.M
total area approx 60 Sq Meters
60 x £6 = £360.00.
It's usually a reasonable idea to add some for possible cutting. Only you will know that, but 10% could be OK? then 66Sq.M x £6.00 would cost £396.00 If no cutting required, you save a bit.

Hope this helps. Happy new year!
