Why is it the rest of the year is so easy to decorate your home seasonally - but every year after Christmas/New Year I'm left scratching my head wondering "how do I decoarte, now?" It's too late for fall, too early for Spring, I don't want to leave my Christmas stuff up....any ideas? :) Thanks!!

Hello Decorating your home,

After the season of Christmas is over we are all mesmerized from the wonders of colour and brightness, cheerfulness of the holidays.

I personally prepare my home to go back to a loving, homey and warm atmosphere. For myself and my family good home smells are here all year round and if you cannot make your own aromas then switch to either the deodorizers or Incense Sticks. Plants/Crafts are often used for decorating also.

During this time would be a good idea to experiment with different colors and patterns that are neither related to Christmas or spring.

Snowmen are still legal, because you can decorate your home for winter in January, February. In March, the snowmen go! I keep my red berries out through winter. I love the winter season.

Yes, get a magazine called Romantic Homes. They have the most beautiful ideas for Valentine's Day! I bought my copy at Barnes & Noble.

Hey-
you don't leave your house with christmas stuff up? Relax, when decorating a house. Think of what's happening each month, go websites like yahoo or goggle type in ideas for decorating each month. You don't have decortate every month. Just important hoidays like christmas - lights, snowman until New year's eve. I hope this helps. I change my red tablecloth after Valentines Day. The poinsettia leafs on my table ring centerpiece is replaced with red roses for Valentines day, and my kitchen curtains although they are red, they have Daisy's in them therefore I use them until (you guessed it, Valentines day).
