Significance of Silver Mark on English candlesticks.?

One candlestick base has a mark that looks like a Jewish candle holder. Upturned, 7 branches for candles.

I watch "Antiques Roadshow" alot and silver pieces with a makers mark tend to be more valuable because you can trace the ownership and tell how old the object actually is. Depending upon the condition you could have a real treasure on your hands.
