Before my sister moved out, her and I shared a room. We had bunk beds. I cannot get rid of the bunk beds because I did not pay for it. I have to keep it in my room. I don't use the top bed, obviously (except to store the mess that is the product of my laziness). Is there anything creative I can do with the top bed since I only need the bottom bed. It is a twin size bed with a book shelf headboard type deal.

My only piece of furniture in the room is a cream couch. I tried some taupe type colours & they look awful. The room has 3 sky lights & three skinny windows. It is a living/dining room. The front entrance hall is narrow . The kitchen which is at the end of the hall is yellow & terra cotta colours The paint will be in the entrance, up a staircase, down a hall, & living & dining room. Any suggestions for colours.

I guess its called tack paper, I want to fit it into my kitchen drawers. It comes in different styles/colors, sticky on on side. Can you suggest the stores that you know it can be found at, and in what section? Much appreciated-Thanks

I have secured it with a bar that came with the fireplace, back they are still loose. I think it should be a heat resistant grout of some sort, or I've heard it could be plaster of paris I've to use.

My parents are landlords and I have experience working with my dad painting the interior of the units between tenants. I believe there is a need in my area for apartment painting. I have an entrepreuener mind and am willing to put in the planning to make this work.
A huge bonus to this was the thought that I would have little start up costs, already having the materials in my garage at home. But I have found that I would probably need contractors insurance. This has crushed my dream.
Can I just have the client sign a waiver of any liablility? I can't see it being worth my efforts if I have to come up with alot of insurance money. I will not undertake a job I can't finish.
Do I need some sort of a license (NY state)?
Any other expenses?(besides equipt?
I know that I will never be successful without being able to say I have insurance, but I am just looking to make money over the next 2-5 years while providing a great paint job this energetic student will provide. Is it worth it?

I had a fire in my home, the fire was located upstairs of my home the water drain downstairs and my walls and floors got very wet downstairs. A contractor came and used a machine to dry out the house. I think the walls dried fine, they are not buckling. Is it wise to keep the wall or get new drywall? If it is ok to keep the wall can I paint over the wall paper?

I am looking for certain brands of acrylic paint (FolkArt and Americana) that I can't find in the store so I am shopping for it online. I was just wondering how accurate online color charts are. Do the colors appear lighter or darker than the actual paint? Thanks.

I'm going for the Country look - we plan on having either a dark green sofa or a dark blue. Its on the smaller side, so we don't want anything too dark. . . .I'm scared if I pick a color my living room will look like the romper room!
