Sorry to hear about it. Did the carpet turn orange or white? If so it is most likely damaged beyond repair. You have 2 choices either cut out the bad section with something new. If you don't have extra carpet you can use a piece from the closet and seam it in. Professional will charge between $100-200 min charge. OR you can have the carpet redyed in that area. This is a little cheaper ($75-150) but can walk off or not match well depending on who is doing it.

Call the carpet installer. He'll cut out the bleached carpet and install a new section of carpet. Bleach ruins anything.

Some carpet cleaning services have dying capabilities also. Hurry, they must get the bleach out before it eats the carpet!

My mother had the same thing happen and she called a carpet dyer to fix it...I can't even tell where it is now! It cost her about $45 bucks, but it's worth it!

Oh dear.
You can try blotting it up with a very thick towel, but I don't think that will stop the color from coming out of your carpet, unless the carpet is one of those that doesn't fade.

buy a small rug and superglue it over the bleach stained carpet

pour bleach on the rest of it ...or get some ritz die..or if you can piece of it same color and size as spot you can cut out bleach spot and glue down new piece >>just get the nap all going in same direction or it look funny when you vacuum
