Where can I buy the stick/tack paper that you place in the bottom of drawers, say in the kitchen?

I guess its called tack paper, I want to fit it into my kitchen drawers. It comes in different styles/colors, sticky on on side. Can you suggest the stores that you know it can be found at, and in what section? Much appreciated-Thanks

Yes. Target, K-Mart & WalMart all carry shelf / drawer lining papers. Contact paper is the kind that is self adhesive. Personally I would not recommend sticky paper to line drawers or shelves with. When you decide to remove it at some later date, unfortunately the sticky part takes out part of the (wood) material from the drawer / shelf.

I would recommend 2 other options. At the same stores you can purchase shelf liner paper that is of a woven material that doesn't move around yet is not sticky. It is a bit more expensive than contact paper.

Or - for less cost I would recommend wallpaper. Yes wallpaper. It is inexpensive to purchase a roll of paper as opposed to several rolls of the other options above. Don't stick it, just cut it and put it in place. Nice. Clean. Inexpensive. Easy & cheap to replace should you want to change it at some point.

but you will regret it in a year or two (alright maybe 5 or so years), when you decide to clean out the drawers and re-arange the cupboards and shelves, and in the process decide that it needs painting...removing that stuff is a real bad bear, you are better of with a shelf and drawer mat, it is a rubbery material, kind of a tight webbing, and can be cut into any size to fit. it is non-slip, so it stays secure and when you want to clean off the shelves or repaint, they lift right out, no sticking, and can be washed in the sink and used again.

Its called contact paper. They sell it at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Meijers, Home Depot, Lowe's, just about any place that would have home/kitchen decorating products

i know you can get that at target or walmart for pretty cheap...it should be in the section where they sell kitchen supplies. if its not in that section, ask an associate, but i know those 2 stores sell them cuz i buy it all the time for lining drawers =)

I think you mean contact paper. You can find it at Wal-Mart in the kitchen aisle.
