I am so sorry to hear that!

I have had "off" years where circumstances in my life were such that I didn't really feel up to the whole Christmas thing either. This year has been OK, but I still don't have even 1 decoration up yet. A friend is storing my tree & ornaments- etc and we have both been so busy we haven't found a mutual time for me to get it.

Less time to keep the 3 yr old out of the tree, anyway I guess.

Hang in there.

How awful, I know the feeling, dont worry about your presents, just simply do not bother, you have enough to be thinking of. You wont be in the mood, spend your time with the person, and have a quiet christmas this year, afterall christmas is really a relgious thing, presents are just a gimmik. Go and have a massage and a facial, may help you feel slightly better, best wishes. ps. im not in the mood either

I'm kinda in the mood. It's hard here where I live since there is no snow right now. Yep I live in a state where we do get snow and it makes it hard to be in the Christmas spirit without some snow on the ground. I got all my shopping done and the lights and tree up but I really am ready for the snow.

Not many people around me is in the mood for Christmas either. I believe people are forgetting the true meaning of Christmas, and stores are just trying to make more money then they need. I doesn't matter if you get anyone anything and it definitely doesn't matter what you are given, but I'm gonna let you believe what you think because its really a Christian or Baptiste holiday to me,.

I'm never really in the mood for X-mas. The food is good and all, but this year, I won't be spending it with my family. I've been kicked out of my home so I'll be spending X-mas with my fiance and his family. I can't wait to be able to have my first X-mas with them, but I'm just not getting that X-mas spirit this year.
