I have seen this pillow my daughters friend has and it's made from her left over t shirts from clubs and high school teams, it is made like a quilt, then it is sewn to a blanket which fits in the pocket of the pillow, real cute. I have no quilting expericnce but I can cut shirts and can use the sewing machine if I have to, I have been saving my daughters shirts sense she's been doing sports from the age of 10, now she's in college, and I thought that would be a nice gift to give her for x-mas, so if anyone know's give me a haller, Thank you.

prettniss sake?
I do some of both. The "pretty" candles in shapes of fruit or something I just keep. I think they are too pretty to burn so I like to burn the other ones. I forget what they are called. The ones that are straight like a stick.

I just bought a 1925 colonial. The house is in beautiful condition. The walls are original plaster and look perfect. It has original wood windows with new storms. I really excited. I have only one problem...The carpet is blue. It's in great shape and I dont want to rip it out. I have a severe dis like for the color as far as interior design goes. I was thinking about using browns to tone it down. Does anyone have any ideas as to what kind of palatte I can use? The carpet is everywhere exspect the kitchen. I lean more toward rustic design, very earthy tones. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

It is a platform bed with a rectangle frame. Between the two sides of the bed, there are about 15 slats that go across where I put the mattress. The problem is that the two long sides of the frame have started to warp away from one another--I can push them back toward each other, but the wood is warped and they spring back, so the middle slats fall through. I'm wondering how to tie them together--with traction/tension--(aesthetics don't matter) so the slats won't fall through. I'm thinking of using a rope and knots--I can tie sailor knots, but don't know what design to use. Also, what is a non-stretch rope?

I've painted my kitchen cabinets, but even days later they still feel tacky to the touch. I've used quality semi-gloss paint (Behr -- I also painted the walls with Behr satin, no problems) and I cleaned and primed the surfaces ahead of time. The temp in the house has been in the 60s and 70s, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions or remedies?

I have a couple of rooms where one wall meets the ceiling at a much lower point than another wall due to my vaulted ceilings. Can I put up crown molding in these rooms without it looking bad? Thanks!

We had a jacuzzi in our upstairs bedroom last year but unfortunately it fell through the ceiling. It has left water stains all down the walls.

Any ideas how to remove them, or who i can call to get it professionally done ? hubby is useless and spends all his time in the pub on the corner.

Someone near to Weatherfield in Manchester would be best.
