My babez calls me the candle freak. We have candles all over the house for decoration and for use. And every season we have holiday scents throughout the house. This time of year is my favorite, I have pumpkin spice, cinnamon swirl, apple crisp.. >yummy<. It makes the home feel more welcoming and it reminds me of when I used to live with my mom. I am obsessed with candles, their shapes, texture, their look in a room. I also have every outlet filled with glades scented oils plug ins. Hawaiin Breeze is my favorite. Every room has a different feel. I just love the freshness. You know, that feeling when you walk into your home and KNOW its yours? Or maybe my babez is right...lol
Here's an idea. How bout buying some really pretty candle holders that can be mounted on the wall...I just bought a pair for the master...Looks beautiful and it's romantic...Have a nice day!

I love candles, my husband does even more than I do. Unfortunately I have a parrot so scented candles are out. I like candles made from pure bee's wax, they burn cleaner and longer. Summer, winter, spring and fall we have them burning. I don't use fancy candles for show, they're to expensive to buy and not use. Instead, I collect beautiful crystal candleholders at yard sales, been doing it for years and that makes them look as pretty as any fancy candle.

I burn my candles. I use pretty holders so that I can use any candle in it and still have a decorative candle piece.

The game of life is about burning the candle at both ends and in the middle too.
And then you just cross your fingers !!

i used to keep some pretty ones and burn some also. (the straight ones like sticks --skinny ones are tapers, fat ones are pillars) life is too short to "save" candles, my grandma has tons of neat candles that have sat for years and collected dust, and for what? i say burn them , enjoy them, and replace them. we cant take our stuff with us when we go, lets use our things while we have the chance. :)

I burn them more in the winter. But I only burn the PartyLite ones as you don't lose any wax and there is no black smoke when you blow them out, therefore no black residue on the walls after awhile
