I'm cleaning out my frige and I need some tips on what to use to clean the inside of it. I already got all the old food out, but I want to clean like the shelves and stuff. I heard than you aren't suppose to use bleach or ammonia type cleaners, so what can I use? Also how can I keep from making a huge mess? Any tips or advice would be greatly appriciated!! Thnx a bunch!!!

I'm looking for any unique, possibly money saving household tips. Anything, just share your ideas. Example: What do you do to save money on cleaning, cooking, bills or anything, or what do you think is a better or more innovative way to do any household chores. Anything goes!

tips that benefit parents are good too-any halloween or fall ideas?

My washing machine stops twice during the cycle. On each ocassion I have to turn it off, turn the dial full circle, and turn it on again- then it continues at the point where it left off. I've checked the drainage and this is not the problem. Is it time I bought a new machine or is the problem mendable?

I am trying to transport a washer and dryer and in order to use my SUV I would need to tilt both on their side. I was wondering if that would damage either appliance

How do you clean it? Anyone use Hoover Floor Mate, Bissell Flip It, or Lysol Steam Cleaning Mop? It seems there's got to be an easier way than sweeping and mopping but I don't want to waste my money on something that doesn't work and just ends up taking up space.

I mean immaculate. Shiny. So clean it would look like I had daily maid service. I have a huge house but can't really afford extra help at this time.

I've done this before but now a have a problem. The water filled up and the comforter is wet but you don't see any water in the washer. The comforter is full of air and is floating! I smash it down into the water but it floats back to the top. What do I do?

I have a 3 month baby in the house, so I'm a little crazy about the germs right now! I wonder if Im cross contiminating and if Im actually killing the germs. Are sponges bad to use? I think all they do is hold bacteria! and if you spray cleaner on the counter directly then wipe away with a cloth is that good enough for the kitchen? How do you make bleach water (how much water and bleach). What other things do you find properly kills the germs in a house?

Thanx

Its my son's favorite shirt. The other day he cut his hand, and got blood all over it. I immediatly sprayed it with stain remover, and it all came out except for one area that I just didnt see at the time. The shirt has already been washed once. Is it to late to get the stain out?

(The shirt is light blue, if that makes a difference)

My foyer is 2 stories high. I'm starting to get spider webs and wanted to know if there was any kind of telescoping duster or something that I could use instead of a ladder (I'm afraid of heights). Where can I get something like that? Any suggestions?
