How long do you use you towel and wash cloth before you put it in the hamper??

It really depends on the environment in which your towel and wash cloth are in, and the cleanliness of your body when you use them.

Back home, where my washroom is spotless, I can use a towel for up to one week and a wash cloth for half a week (I shower very cleanly ;)) before it gets dirty (ie. smells).

But since I moved into university residence (I still get my own bathroom, shared with one person), which is much dirtier (despite all the cleaning we've tried), I find that my towels smell after only one use; my mom said it was the germs/bacteria in the air that are the cause of the smell, since I still shower thoroughly. Unfortunately for me, I only have a couple sets and laundry costs me quite a bit of money, so I have to endure it.

I'd say that you can be like me at home and use your towel for up to one week and your wash cloth for up to half a week IF the place where you hang dry them is CLEAN. Changing your towels/cloths only when you notice smells on them (rather than setting a schedule) is fine, because washing a fairly-clean towel just wastes water.

my towels i use 2 times at the most and wash cloth as long as i am the only one using it 3 times at the most, but if someone else uses it i put it in the hamper right away... my boys are famous for using our towels instead of their own and leaving it either on the floor or jumbled up on the door so i usually only get one use for me and one for the boys out of the towels... they have their own wash cloths and they dont use mine so i can ususally do 3 times max...

it depends, if you have a big washer then you probably can handle once
and if you shower often, its smart to save some water and use it over once or twice

i shower every other day, and use it once. if you hang it up and not let it just be on the floor then its fine to use it more than once

It depends on how dirty I was before I got in the shower. Usually 2 times/days :~)
