try rubbing alcohol. It takes it off of surfaces nicely. It may spread but just keep applying and then wash. Give it a try first on something you don't cherish. Put marker on a rag that is a similar material, let it dry and see what happens with the rubbing alcohol on that before you try it with your shirt.

I'd stretch the stained area over a bowl and then pour rubbing alcohol (or denatured alcohol...that's got a higher alcohol content so you might have better luck with it.) You can get denatured alcohol at a hardware store....usually used by woodworkers.

The stretching over the bowl is done so the stain doesn't spread. If you do use the alcohol method, make sure you rinse it out as much as you can before laundering.

I hate to assert this yet I even have in no way heard of everybody getting a sharpie mark off of any form of clothing i'm an electrician and that i take advantage of a sharpie alot. yet you are able to attempt a variety of sticks i think tide makes and this is meant to paintings genuine properly. I wish you luck

If it's fresh, try some rubbing alcohol. Be careful, it may make the mark spread instead of just washing it out. If that doesn't work, nothing else will.

it's this stuff called Awesome!! that gets off any and everything. it's sold at the dollar stores and it really works for just a 1.00

you have to bleach it and dye it back. Use some RiT clothing DYE.
