We are buying a new home. The contractor says he can buy and install our 2 garage door openers for $350 each. Is that reasonable? They only cost $150 each at Sears to purchase, all wiring is set up, the door is on, etc.

at the bottom. Oil is poured into the tank at a rate of 2.1 gallons per minute and the valve at the bottom empties the tank at a rate of 1.9 gallons per minute. If the tank does not fill until 12:00 noon the next day, how many gallons does the tank hold?

We bought a house in April 07 in Warren County Ohio. We have been having problems with septic since moving in. The leach field is not draining (clogged) and groundwater fills the septic tank within hours of pumping. So far the first quote to add extra leach field is $4100 dollars. I just found out that the previous homeowner knew that the system had failed in 2005. They filed for a permit (with the county board of health)to have the same work done and it was approved. The work was never done and the homeowner abandoned ship. They never disclosed any of the problems with the septic/leach system. Can they be held liable at this point? We did not have the system tested because the home inspector told us the county inspected the systems yearly. Is there any way to take the previous homeowner to small claims court/other to recover some of the cost? After all, they were completely dishonest. If we would have known we wouldn't have purchased the house!!

The toaster it's in very good conditions, but the warranty expired 3 years ago. Does anybody know if thoose heating elements can be replaced? Can I find them in a store? Thanks!

So annoying b.c. I don't have pets, but my beloved housesitter did and left some unwanted guests when my family and i came back. Anyway, the home has been treated 2x's and the co. is coming for another respray tomorrow...I have vaccuumed every day, sometimes @the max. amount of 3x/day. It's kinda hard w/ 3000 sq. ft to vaccuum. and only one room is carpeted. I hardly have a prob. in the carpeted room now and things have gotten better but it's flaring up again...i THINK the buggers nested under the dishwasher in the insulation b.c. every morning fleas jump on me in front of the dishwasher.

Am I vaccuuming too much b.c. I spend close to 1 hr. vaccuuming each time and like i mentioned b4 i sometimes do it 3x's per day. Must I get a new filter each time? the vaccuum is bagless but has a filter. Should I spray with some sort of store product after the sprayers have left? Are hardwood floors just harder to kill bugs in?
