right ive just layed over 200...100mmx100mm (4x4) tiles, apart from the wall being out, gone like a dream. now ive grouted them, bits at a time, but no matter how quick i seem to go its setting on the tiles as quick as i can wipe it off. its took me longer to clean the tiles, than it has to lay them. the stuff ive used is adheshive and grout all in one. is there a better way,(quicker) or better grout to use ,because surely proffessional tilers dont muck about like this. or is it just a labour of love, and elbow grease????????
cheers,RIGGS.

I know how to mix shellac - dissolve in alcohol. I also have to use some of the following and am not sure as to the procedure:

* beeswax pellets (simply melt or dissolve in alcohol?)

* carnauba wax pellets (simply melt or dissolve in alcohol?)

* paraffin wax pellets (simply melt or dissolve in alcohol?)

* montan wax pellets (simply melt or dissolve in alcohol?)

* microcrystalline wax pellets (simply melt or dissolve in alcohol?)

Could you also state how to apply each to surfaces?

Thanks.

Is there a commercial battery pack (5 amps needed) that I can buy and plug in to, to run the blower fan and auger (if I have lost my electric power) or can one be made from, say 12 volt batterys? This stove would be worthless if the electricity goes out. Even something to run the stove for 12 hours or so, until electric power is restored? Thanks to anyone for an answer. Dukie

I'm adding a subpanel to my garage and using 4, #4 awg stranded wire: 2 hot, 1 neutral and 1 ground. Looking at my main panel, I don't see how this thick 4 awg will fit into the neutral and ground connections. Is there an adapter I should be using? Also, I'm using 2 black wires as hots and 1 black wire as ground. The neutral is white. I figure I'll strip the ground wire bare in the box to show it is ground. Am I doing something wrong? To late to buy new wire, it's already cut and snaked. Thanks.

It has rained every day for more than a week and gradually everything in my house, especially the bedroom, just feels damp. I have been trying to leave windows open and have done a lot of washing but what can I use to get rid of the damp feeling in the house itself?

2-3 months ago I saw a product being sold on TV that was designed to remove stripped screws. It would even take out a screw that had the head completely gone. I wrote down the 800# and the name but now I can't find it. I want to get it for my husband for Christmas. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Ok. Mom was cleaning underwater frog water dumping dirty stuff into toilet w/ frog still in bowl...stupid, I know. The underwater frog fell into the toilet. Instead of staying in bowl, he slipped down and out of sight.

Is it possible he is somewhere in the 's' bend or would he have gone right out into the sewer system? She didn't flush the toilet, so same water.

Is there anyway to get him out if he is somewhere inside the 's' bend of the toilet?

I've heard these types of frogs could survive in "toilet water" if necessary. But if he's been pushed to the sewer I know it's a goner.

It's a sibling's frog and had it for years! It's like 3 inches long and 1- 1 1/2 inches wide, so not tiny. Any tips, suggestions? Would really like to save him! Mom tried reaching for him but didn't realize there was an 's' bend.

HELP PLEASE!

She has expressed that she wants it, and I'm concerned that it's not going to work that great for her. One of my siblings has suggested that we each chip in for Christmas. I'm happy to do so, but I'm afraid that it would be money wasted. The dog sheds A LOT, and she's got so much furniture and clutter that I think it might be ineffective. She's the type to be more likely to set it aside if it didn't work, rather than return it and get something else. Have you owned one? What did you think? What should I do?

But doesn't stain. Something that can be applies to carpets. I've tried stink bomb powder, liquid *** and grinded plant roots that smell like stink feet but they only last for about an hour.

all you do is put your clothes in and put some detergent, close the door, spin the thingy then pull it
after washing you transport the clean wet clothes to the dryer, put in the soft paper thingys, close the door and push the button
HOW HARD IS THAT?!?!

... what kind of blanket have you found -in your experience- that provides the most warmth and comfort on a freezing cold night? I have a friend who is fighting cancer, and she gets so cold at night. She mostly has thin throws for covers, and I'd love to get her a really nice big, warm blanket, even if I have to buy it online. We live in the south, so there aren't many choices, much less, needs, for warm blankets here.

Thanks for your help!!

Since the last light snowfall (8 days ago) there has been a growing wet spot on my and my neighbors sidewalk, wondering if it is an issue? The only similarity is that we both have trees in the front of our property. We live in southern NY, Queens County and this has never been an issue during other months.
