You can get it at home depot and auto stores its fiberglass mesh to patch it and you need the fiberglass resin comes in a 2 part mixture you have to work fast cause it dries right away. I dont know what you are going to about matching the color if its the part behind the wall then you are ok. make sure to sand the area around it with very fine sandpaper like 400 or 600 grit ,so it will stick then you can use a auto rubbing compound to bring back the shine

Yey the other guy has the right idea if you bought it from home depot or a lowes then return it and get another its easier

i drop-ed a can of shaving cream in the shower once and i went to the manufacture and they gave me a small amount of gel coat the exact color needed and i fixed it start with 100 grit end with 400 wet and dry ten buff with wax .you might have to reinforce the back first if the damage is crack or hole with fiber glass cloth and resin

if it is fiberglass it can be patched, but the question of how much pressure it will need to hold becomes the issue. Any automotive body shop can repair fiberglass and you can probably figure it out yourself as well. If you decide to fix it, please don't buy the repair kit from Walmart, go to an automotive store and buy a quality product.

They have fiberglass patch kits at any hardware store or at least they should carry it. Although it ends up being a rough spot and could sink through. Had a hole in the RV tub and it has done ok.

If you bought it from a big store , return it and say that's how you got it.

If you bought it as home depot its probably a lasco, Witch is there B class stuff, So don't feel bad about returning it . At you local small store they sell the A class lasco , That's why is more and probably wouldn't break so easy

I see any number of these answers being O.K. except the one where you cheat and lie about it.
Patch it the best you can and in time it will probably seal if left along. If it's unsightly, bite the bullet and take it back:buy a new one.

You'd be better off researching repair professionals than asking stupid questions
