24-hour grocery store would probably be good.

You could buy them the night before. Most florists use amazing preservatives, so the blooms last and last. Make sure the flowers have enough water, and if possible, keep them in a cool place. Then, next morning, wrap them in paper, and carry them so the blooms are facing down.

There are some really nice things that look like testtubes, and carry a little bit of water in them available these days from the nicer florists. But a bit of wet Florist sponge, wrapped in aluminum foil then put in a plastic bag (wrap a rubber band around the stems) will keep them fresh during the day at school.

Most grocery stores have a floral department with ready made bunches of flowers to grab and go - I would recommend a floral mix or if you want to make a big impression pink roses.

most floral shops are open that early. I once bought flowers for a girl at around 8 o clock on a Saturday morning.

Make sure she likes flowers first and isn't allergic to pollen... I'm allergic to pollen and I'd hate it if someone gave me flowers. Grocery stores is the best answer, or maybe your parents' garden?
