Both parties agreed to complete the work on average 6 to 8 weeks. Now we are on the 10th week. The work is still not yet completed. We have consulted experienced person in construction to find out how many additional weeks will be needed to complete the work. We were told that we need 3 or 4 extra weeks to complete. Is the construction company in breach of the contruct? Can we sue this company becasue of the delay and all the problems they are causing on the family?

The hot water in our house takes forever, almost a minute, to start coming out. We just moved into a new home that does not have piping installed to support a recirculating pump. The water heater works fine. Is there a solution to have the hot water circulate quicker?

I have a $250 flat iron which I use to straighten my hair and I really don't have the money to replace it right now, but here's the problem....
I was straightening my hair as usual, and when I got closer to my ear, I heard a kind of flickering noise. There is a crack in the cord about 1mm wide and I saw a spark in it. Since its such a small crack, would I be able to put electrical tape around the cord long enough for me to purchase a new one?

This might sound silly, but I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how you can install a 2x4 support brace between the two joist through a junction size hole. I guess I can't figure out how to nail it in. This is on the first floor by the way.

Thanks.

I have two Peace Lilies. One is about 4 years old and one is a few month old (meaning--since being in my house). They were both doing great no dead or brown leaves, were flowering like normal, not being forced to droop too low before being watered or too often.

I fertilized with leading indoor plant fertilizer, probably a little less concentrated than recommended, and since then each one flowered one more round and then never again.

These plants rarely don't flower; it is really hard to achieve, even with bad light, etc.

Since, it happened twice with the fertilizing, 4 years apart, I know that it is related to the fertilizing.

How to undo?

Yes, it's gross to admit, but I don't know any of you so I'm not worried : ) But I mean...should I just let them soak in a bleach solution for awhile then rinse them well and then use soap? And what about the silverware? Because the silverware can't be put with any bleach.

Does it come in one thickness? We are going to have to redo our very very tiny bathroom after I decided the wallpaper and ugly "paneling" needed to come down. The "paneling" is some kind of laminate stuff heavily glued to the drywall! This bathroom is very tiny, say 7 foot long and 3/4 feet wide...sink and toilet is it. I don't have any room to lose therefore am wondering if they make really thin drywall or if it only comes in one size?
