bed bugs are like fleas they drink peoples blood ..they also look something like a flea they are a red-brown color and can be very small...but some are big...youll probably see bites before the actual bugs...they hide in the mattress seams and in the box spring...its very difficult to get rid of them..not all insect killers will get rid of them ...usually you have to find something made for bed bugs... if your furniture is really infected you might want to get rid of it..they can get in rugs ..and they dont need material homes they can live in cracks in wood in your house...they are very hard to get rid of...

looks like a springtail!
Springtails have no wings and are hump-backed. They have a body part beneath the abdomen that allows them to flip in the air. Thus, they appear to jump like fleas. Colors vary from white, gray, yellow, orange, metallic green, lavender to red with some being patterned or mottled.
Springtails live in rich, damp soil, dead leaves, under decaying wood where there is fungi. They feed on decaying plants, fungi, mold, or algae. They can be found around drains, in damp basements, and crawl spaces. They will also breed in overwet soil of houseplants.
Springtails tend not to be able to survive in dry conditions. Address all moisture and ventilation issues in the home so that all conditions are dry. Clean up any breeding sites in the landscape and eliminate standing water. Bug spray can be used, but unless moisture issues are not addressed, they will continue to breed. Cleaning of drains will remove any fungi and breeding sites in sinks and tubs.

We all spend a lot of time in bed and experts say that between 2 million and 10 million dust mites live in your mattress and that another 2 million live in your pillow.
We use special soft cotton/polyester fabric mattress and pillow covers to provide an effective barrier against dust and dust mites.
Hope this helps...see links below for reference. Best of Luck!

There are such things are bed bugs. They look like a cross breed between a roach and it has little pincher's like a prayingmantise. It's brown and tiny. It eats the dust in your matress. They don't bother you unless you have an old matress that hasn't been cleaned. Then the bacteria would grow and make you sick.
They have places where they clean your matress. I think they vaccum it and press the matress to get the dust out.

I HAVE NO IDEA BUT THEY KEEP BITING ME.
Seriously. I got TWELVE bug bites. I washed my sheets and it still kept happening. I think it's okay now though.
Apparently they look like this: http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/bed-bug-1-400.jpg. DISGUSTING.
