how to clean and shine laminate wood floors?

The recommended cleaners are vinegar and water, or laminate floor cleaners - sold by the laminate flooring companies. The vinegar and water is less expensive and very good cleaner. there is no recommended wax or "shine" product for laminate floors that I am aware of. The laminate floor should have a permanent finish, and applying something else over it will likely make the floor slick, or damage the seams.

The best way to clean and shine a laminate floor is to use vinegar and water, get on your hands and knees, and do small areas at a time. Clean with one hand and buff with the other.

i have looked up this question before...someone recommmended diluted white vinegar...i tried it and did not se much shine...it left streaks.....i used a floor cleaner called Murphy's oil Wood cleaner.(concentrated)..i dilute it in warm water and use a small dish towel that i dip into the mixture and wring out...then i dry with an old towel as i am afraid to get my new floors really wet. I bought it either at walmart or lowes...good luck

I wash mine with Mr. Clean. The shine is always on laminate flooring and it will be more shiny when it is clean. We were told not to use wax on ours when we had it installed.

home depot has a cleaner especially for laminate ..i used bruce for my floor but it left an wax like film and not much shine..try the other brand.. haven' tried it...good luck

My landlord owns a company were they do wood flooring and he doesnt let us use anything on it except Polycare shown in the picture below
