i am looking for an air compressor for an air brush that only needs 25psi max, ive seen bigger ones sell for cheaper then little ones, can a buy and air compressor that is 150psi and turn it down to 25psi or will that ruin it.

Turning the air regulator to 25psi would only give the unit more cfm's available for you to use. so it would turn on and off less. is a normal operation on any compressor. As a Power tool tech. i would reccomend the Porter Cable C2002R is a reliable and very strong unit (oil less) maintenance free., nice warranty, parts and service available to any Dewalt svc dealer, strong reputation. I personally work and fix them, so i can put my word on it.

No that isn't any longer dry and in case you haven't any longer have been given a water capture on the air too line the water will shorten air gadget existence. in user-friendly terms some moisture is condensed by way of compression no longer all. The air interior the air tank on the compressor is the comparable because of the fact the air you're respiratory in user-friendly terms compressed to a rigidity above atmospheric rigidity, and it ought to be a tad much less humid yet no longer plenty.

A lot of them have a dial on it that you can adjust to whatever psi you need.

Dad does it for his pneumatic guns.

As long as it has a regulator, you'd be fine. Just make sure you are getting enough airflow as well(CFM)
