If it is wood laminate- (looks like wood but isn't) use a damp rag. Sometimes I use a light misting of Windex and a damp rag. Only use very mild cleaners (Windex is not for everyday) and a soft cloth or mop. You don't want to scratch or etch it. You also do not want to get it sloppy wet- it could swell and the seams and ruin your pretty new floor.

If it is laminated wood, damp mop with the tiniest bit of water and Murphy's Oil Soap or a cleaner made just for wood floors. Once again, don't get it too wet! Just a little damp.

You want to sweep or vacuum the floor first with a hard floor brush that won't scratch the floor then mop with slightly damp mop. Citrus products or soap can leave a residue. I found a site that gives some good info at http://www.hardwoodlaminateflooringguide.com/cleaning-laminate-flooring.html You should always check with the manufacturer as to what they recommend as you want to protect your warranty. Hope this helps you out.

A damp mop works the best and leaves the least amount of streaks, cleaners can leave streaks. Since I don't always feel like it is clean when only using water, sometimes I will lightly spray mine with windex and then damp mop over it.

If you want it to remain shiny, use only white vinegar and water. Don't over wet it. I use about 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar.
