Water bugs usually gather in damp areas, under sinks, under boards in the garage where we set fuel cans, under slate used for walkways ,under bricks which break the flow of water from the downspout of the roof gutter. If you eliminate the damp places you will rid the house of water bugs.

sounds like you may need a pest controller in the mean time try putting some oil down your drain after you have used the sink and also leave the plugs in to stop bugs getting into your house. oils such as olive, vegie, canola or baby oil. just a few drops each time should help to break the breeding cycle as this puts a film on the top of the water and the bugs cant breath
