Had a little accident.

we've lost the manual for the water heater and we can not find a reference on the web ANYWHERE of what the exact temperture is when you set the water heater on "warm". we've called Home Depot and they refer us back to the manual!

Well Im goin to be getting a living room set sometime and I want the perfect match.

What color furniture will match pale off white walls and brown carpet ??
Its not a huge area.

can I do a dark brown with a rug to add some colors?

Is it okay to put a rug over carpet?

Hi! ok... um.. well I want a canopy bed but the problem is I livein a 1 story house and my celing is 8ft. the canopy bed I want is black and is 7.5 feet long or 7 ft. can't remember... anyway.... would that look strange? I mean.. my room is small but not small small lol this is hard to explain... sigh... I have a walk in closet if that helps to vision my room.... thanks.... I think it might work but then again it might not.. I don't want my room to look crowed... thanks again...

I have a pipe that I installed that runs from my upstairs toilet to the sewer. It is behind the insulation, and thus it will be getting very cold when winter comes. Since water will only be going through it when I flush the toilet, I was wondering if the pipe could burst if it freezes. Does the pipe need to be completely full of standing water to burst, or only has trace amounts of water left in it from flushing, will it burst? Thanks.

I have an unvented gas heater in my bedroom. I keep the window open about three inches. Is it safe to use? The heater seems to be in good shape and work well. What would be the signs of it emitting co? I have a new CO detector in the room and it has not gone off? Anyone have ggod/bad expieriences with these? Please respond We are new at this just bought house. Thank You.

I have some pipes that run through a part of my house that is unfinished, isolated, and unheated in the winter. Do they sell anything that I could wrap around the pipes that will warm them just enough to keep them from freezing? Like some kind of coil or something. Just looking for ideas. Thanks.

my mum hasa flat roof which has been fiberglassed over and it has started to leak can it be re roofed without taking the fibre glass of or shuold it be stripped right back to the orignal decking

Plus, i want something which is roach and bedbug resistant. Metall preferreed over wood, which attracts bugs. Some say just to get an air matress...others say convertibles an\re not for daily use. This MUST be for daily use for a couiple who will sli\eep in love seat sized convertible or futon.

I am new first time home buyer and I am curious about the Pros and Cons of a frame house vs a brick house.

We are on a tight budget and seems like all the homes that are in our price range are frame houses, is this a bad idea?

My agent suggests a brick house but we can't afford it...
Can anyone give some insight?

What should i be looking at when it comes to frame homes?

i love having lots of pics of me and my friends in my room but its way too cluttered to have lots of picture frames all over i wanna be able to put all my pics on the wall but my mom wont buy me one of those things with the string that holds all the pics how can i do it free???

i just moved house and i need a cooker, i prefer an electric one because the gas gives off some sort of grease and it builds up on all the surfaces of the kitchen(no im not talking about oil that gets on surfaces because i always clean after each cooking). But my friend says that electric cooker is much more expensive to use seeing that gas is cheaper. Does anyone know what sort of difference will be there on bills approximately, if we are talking £3/£4 pounds a month, then i dont care, however if its like £10 more with electricity, then i guess ill buy a gas cooker?
