What color should I paint my room?

This is my duvet:

Cute, right? But I don't know what color to put with it. I'm going to have B & W pictures on my walls, so I'm thinking walls that are a shade of grey? I don't want bright colors please. What color should I paint my room?

I would paint the room a soft yellow. If you do it pink that may be a little too much pink. How about a mint green? Adding another color to go with the Pink and Yellow. A few accents of mint green will pull it all together. A few pillows, mint green and pink curtains, mint green throw rugs.

Consider:
1] the lightest pink in the peony, or
2] the pale yellow in the peony.
The gray walls will look dull, and not have enough contrast with the B&W photos.
Suggest you add a few throw pillows in the light, bright, and dark pink; and some white or pale pink or yellow curtains.

You should paint it a really light pink...grey would make it look to dreary
