You're going to need money. A chunk at first to get yourself settled somewhere safe, and then enough to keep you going. So get a job. You can legally sell anything that is yours. That means anything that your parents or others have given you. Don't take anything that isn't yours and don't steal from anyone to get money or goods. Making it alone will be difficult enough without adding the police to the mix.

Don't leave until you have a safe place to stay. If your reasons for leaving are abuse from your parents (actual abuse, now, not just parents that won't let you do what you'd like) you can call the authorities and ask for help. They will legally remove you from your parents' custody and place you with a foster family or group home. Or call adult friends and relatives and explain your situation. Be absolutely honest--no exaggerations and no embellishments. Ask if they can put you up until you can make other arrangements. Let them know exactly what you expect from them. They'll need to know how long you'll plan to stay and if you'll plan to pay your own way and they'll want to know your plans.

Have a plan. Simply leaving home is not a plan. What will you do? Will you continue to go to school? Will you work? Both? Is this permanent, or do you and your parents just need some cooling off time?

I left home out of necessity. It was hard and I had to learn fast to take care of myself. Think it through. Have a plan. Be honest. Don't do it if you're just fed up with your parents. You'll probably be fed up with them for the rest of your life, but don't throw yourself in harm's way just to make a point. If you NEED to do this for your own safety, try to get some help from the authorities.

And good luck.

(God, I hope you're just a frustrated kid who's spouting off.)

Most younglings do not have the funds for hotels so they end up in places where the junkies attack them .

If life at home is that bad , make a solid plan before you go like where you will be sleeping and how you will get food .

Also , high school drop outs mostly end up in life long poverty .

Have a talk with your counselor and make a serious plan to salvage your life .
You do NOT want to end up junkie dung .

Before you leave the house, ask yourself where will you be sleeping at night. Ask where you will get your next meal, ask where you will take your next shower.

Once all these questions have been answered, then back a bag, leaving your cell phone, gameboy, and any other electronic device that requires recharging at home, then leave. If you want to be found by your parents, leave a note. If not, then just leave in the middle of the night.
