It should definitely stripped back to the original. When your new contractors take over ask if they can arrange a slope of 4 degrees as this will ease the flow of water off the roof and into guttering. Water which does not flow away easily is one of the main causes of trouble.

Hope this is of some help.

It depends on where the leak is coming form.Is it really fibreglass or polycarbonate. How old is it? weigh all these things up. It may well be cheaper to replace the whole lot rather than fiddle about paying extra for labour to replace one sheet. Get several quotes from reputable dealers before starting any work. Does your home insurance cover the cost? Don't rush into it. If you have insurance then you may find it is covered, then you can have the whole lot replaced. Good Luck!

well do you wanna replace any of the topping you have you can overlay the new roof on top but it will come off easier if its not stripped first.
