I'm looking for the name of a tree-like shrub that mkes small, 5 point star shaped, waxy dark pink-fuchsia colored flowers with purpish blue ball in the center. These flowers are about 1 inch diameter, surrounding what I think is this tiny purplish blue round fruit. The shrub-tree is deciduous, it has large,(about the size of an adult hand) smooth oval leaves, growing in clusters of two at a time from the stem . Before the pink flowers, the bush makes fragrant white flowers that smell lemony. The leaves themselves don't have a good fragrace.

Im having trouble finding a decent gardener, the quotes I have had were really expensive, and then when I did get a reasonable quote, he left the job halfway through, not doing what I said to do. Others don't bother turning up or ringing back. How do I find one that will not rip me off and do the job properly and turn up!??

Any suggestions?

i went to sears.com and found a 12inch bench 5 speed drill press for $200 and a Bench Mortiser Press for 220ish.

Can the mortiser be used as a regular drill press? O can the mortiser only be used with mortiser chisel bits.

Flip the coin, can the sears 12inch 5 speed drill press be used as a mortiser, as in does it accept mortisser bits

thanks

We had a man come out and fix our furnace, he replaced the thermocouple in it. The pilot light is still going out after the heat kicks off. What's up?

...in one place in my utility room there is a 5-6 foot area that appears yellowish in color. I've washed and scrubbed it with all kinds of cleaners - even those designed by Armstrong - the manufacturer of my flooring. Nothing gets rid of the stain. I wonder if somehow the glue or adhesive used to put the floor down is leaking through and causing the stain. Any advise would be appreciated! Thanks.

A bottle of red wine leaked and stained my car's beige leather seat. I tried removing the stain with Vanish. I also tried white wine. It did not work. I am quite desperate - has anyone got some ideas please?

The guy at the repair shop said it's a size that hasn't been sold for some time. It's an old door. I fitted the lock back in the door and forgot about it.

However a few weeks later, this evening acutally, the lock totally fell apart and is fully unusable.

My back door is currently without lock and handle, closed only with a chair resting against it. I keep thinking someone with the rage virus will get in the house as we sleep.

I can't put any old size of new lock back in the door cause it's metal door with a cavity for just that exact size of mortice lock.

Thanks.

Refrigerators used to have recesses along the top of the door to hold eggs, but they don't anymore. Why not?

Just a question for my own knowledge. I life on the bottom floor of an apartment. I'm actually buried half way in the ground roughly. Every once in a while, my toilet starts bubbling for no apparent reason. I'll go check it out and eventually, it will flush itself; like the water leaves the bowl. If I flush it after that, sometimes it'll get close to overflowing, and may or may not flush. Eventually it will return to normal operation. Anyhow just curious as to what causese this to happen.

I can't believe I have to ask this, but I have spent over an hour trying to figure it out myself and I need to try something new.

Can someone please tell me how to access the light bulb housing in a Broan Bathroom Exhaust fan model BR-751? I have tried to unscrew the frosted glass but it only truns 1/2 an inch and I can not see any release springs or pins and I really need to get some light into my bathroom ... Thanks!

Please visit http://www.kitchensource.com/bathroom-fans/br-750.htm to see the model and specs.
