I want to hang my LCD 32" from my wall but my dad will not let me put a hole in the wall to run power and cable up to it is there any good way to hide the cables with out breaking thur the wall?

Also what is better a arm of a flat mount one?

Certainly there is surface mount cable/electrical wire molding; and some can be put on a surface with adhesive.

My personal feeling is FLAT against a wall. Less stress on the mounting mechanism and the wall where the TV would be attached. With the FLAT mount you're pretty much onlt dealing with SHEAR weight; whereas with an arm; GRAVITY is a factor as well.
